The Science of Magical Talismans and Rings
A three-week intensive studying and exploring The Black Pullet, or, “la poule aux œufs d'or”(the hen that lays golden eggs).
In this course, we’ll deep dive into The Black Pullet, an 18th century grimoire purportedly written by a French officer who served in Napoleon’s Grand Armée. This brief grimoire is an instructional manual outlining necromantic practices rooted in Kabbalah to summon and control spirits in order to obtain (amongst other things) fortune and wealth. It’s a fascinating read!
We will be utilizing the Shadow Books publication.

A general overview of the text, with highlighted sections of importance to read and study
Discussion of the cultural, political, and societal mores of the time the book was collated—contrasting and comparing to our modern era
