Poison, potion, & Alchemy

May 2026

Poison (what’s hindering you from your past): The Lovers, reversed When The Lovers are unable to see eye to eye, they find themselves not only at an impasse, but at a precipice. One false move and either or both parties will go tumbling over. This card’s arrival doesn’t surprise me; the current astrological (and political) climates have us at each other’s throats—and reliving traumas and abuses many of us would rather not revisit. Yet, here we are. Staring down our demons and finding ways to look ourselves in the eye…even if we haven’t quite figured out how to do so with those around us. Yet. If the skeletons in your closet are making a ruckus, or are piled so high they’re aching to avalanche their way to freedom—maybe its time you let them out. Bluebeard’s Magic Key won’t stop bleeding until you face the source of your pain. (Heroines: IYKYK)

Potion (what medicina is needed to heal your wounds): Strength Like Thecla, we must root our Strength in our Faith. Specifically, our faith in ourselves. We’ve outsourced our belief in others for far too long—waiting for someone else to swoop in and save the day, kiss the hurt away, and make our “happily ever after” for us. Strength reminds us exactly how powerful we are, and exactly how aligned with the Divine we are—if only we’d remember, and move from that place of inner-knowing.

Alchemy (what is on the other side of your transmutation): Knight of Swords The Knights are Action manifest. Swords are intellect…once we remember exactly who we are (and all we’re capable of) we’ll be able to spring into action and pursue our desires. We’ll become our own Heroes and Heroines, and rewrite the ending, ourselves.

To paraphrase:

This summer is one of Transformation. Of shaking off and shedding what has been shackling us to our past, and using our breath, our inner spark, and our belief in ourselves to transform into someone truly remarkable. If you want a guide along the way: The Foundational Series is designed specifically to support you through whatever comes your way by giving you tools and techniques to navigate any terrain.

Seed, Root, & Sapling

February 2026

Seed (what lies beneath): High Priestess: Far under the surface, perhaps still covered in snow and ice—frozen, immobile—is our Intuition, lying in anticipation of the thawing that will allow the waters of intuition and empathy to channel through us. This card reminds us that innately we are nestled and held by Earth, and privy to her Natural Wisdom. It’s time to ignite that inner-spark, that inner-knowing deep within us and embody our sacred knowing. High Priestess is archetypically connected with Maiden Goddesses: Persephone (as Kore), Artemis, Brigid. With Imbolc on February 1st, feeling the bright stirrings of her light and wisdom makes sense. Take time to explore the seeds these Maidens have planted within you, and ready for their bursting forth.

Root (what is establishing itself): 10 of Pentacles: Pentacles govern Health, Wealth, and Hearth. Tens are cards of culmination and accomplishment. This arcana symbolizes legacy. What is it of you, that will be left for future generations to engage with? The position of “Root” speaks to where you’re meant to devote resources (time, energy, expenditures) toward for a lasting impact. The invitation is to invest deeply this Spring in the wellbeing and sanctuary of your home, your physical body, and your resources. To not only enjoy, but to actively feed into those physical manifestations of your life—while holding the vision of how those actions will be perceived and received for generations to come.

Sapling (what is disrupting the surface): Page of Swords: Messages of disruption are incoming. We feel inundated with news, media, and an overwhelming sense of impending, drastic change. Our Messenger (page) of Information (swords) is delivering all that comes to him as rapidly as possible—without discrimination or hesitation. That can feel like “too much”. It’s understandable and healthy to take steps back to pause, process, and recalibrate amidst the influx of information. By remembering your Roots and the Seeds of your Intuition, you’ll be able to sort through and decipher the onslaught of media coming your way.

To paraphrase.

Our ability to navigate challenging times is directly linked to our physical and spiritual wellbeing. Our daily practices, habits, and rituals inform our overall wellbeing and state. Practices that ground us, connect us to Earth, that are nourishing to body, mind, and soul, and gently open the channels of our inner-knowing and intuition will be exactly what sustain us through troubling times. Spring is the season of the thawing—where the winter’s freeze melts…this melt can offer life-giving waters that sustain us, or can create flooding that overwhelms and sweeps us away. Our ability to navigate these emotive waters, and stay on land (ie: stand our ground) is informed by our spiritual workings. The Foundational Series is designed specifically to support you through whatever comes your way by giving you tools and techniques to navigate any terrain.

Shadow, Ice, & Wind

October 2025

Shadow (what is in the depths of our psyche): Judgment (reversed): In the depths of our subconscious we know it’s time to step up and into our truth. Excuses, distractions, and perceived limitations have caused us to stagnate and fear what can only be viewed as the inevitable: a releasing and surrendering of stories and patterns that are no longer protecting us, but are now holding us back.

Ice (what is meant to be still): The Hermit: In Winter’s starkness, we’re offered the opportunity to step away from the noisy world that bombards our senses and seek shelter in the solitude of our personal sanctuaries—not in the caves of mountains, but in our homes. The hermit invites us into a different kind of stillness. An internal quieting that activates the unconscious mind. Our minds, like the season of winter, are governed and ruled by the element of air. When our minds are clear, our thoughts become sharp, rich, and spirited.

Wind (what is meant to be carried away): King of Cups: As the months progress and we inch towards Imbolc (February 1st) and the return of the light, ice melts and gives way to flowing, rushing water. We begin to feel the ache for creative expression, and a natural releasing of pent up and stifled emotions. This King rules with stability and groundedness in the midst of emotional swelling and ebbing.

A black and white illustration titled "The Tower" depicting a tall, burning tower with a clock and a lightning bolt striking top. Two people are falling from the tower, one with a hand pointing upward, against a starry night sky with clouds.
Illustration of a person doing a yoga pose, standing on one leg with arms behind, against a night sky background with clouds, stars, and moon, framed as a tarot card labeled 'THE HANGED MAN' upside down.
A tarot card titled "Ace of Pentacles" featuring a hand holding a pentacle with a pentagram and stars on it, set against a cosmic background with clouds and stars.

The season’s reading begins with The Hanged Man reversed—many opportunities have been presented to you these past weeks (possibly even the past few months) of ways to change and shift the situation you’ve found yourself in, but you’ve stubbornly refused to look at the alternatives—deeming them too unlikely or flat out impossible.  Sometimes the impossible is exactly what needs to be done.  In order to break free from the cycles of insecurity, doubt, and the sense of barely surviving when your entire being wants to thrive, you have to let go and let god.  The Tower card is here to shake and dislodge everything that has been stuck, drawing you down, and holding you back. It is necessary.  An imperative to reach your ultimate goal: overcoming the fear and anxiety—signified by the inverted Ace of Pentacles—that has been stifling your growth, tamping your physical wellbeing, and hindering you from your most vibrant, joyously effulgent self.  Thriving is your birthright…this eclipse portal is the perfect time to embrace it.
