My Path

From a young age I showed signs of being different.  I spoke to the moon earnestly, and the fauna of the forest I grew up in interacted with me as though I were one of their own.  I regaled my parents with their stories, as well as visitations  from relatives long past—sharing anecdotes and details a small child wouldn’t have been privy to.  My prayers were regularly answered, and I believed wholeheartedly that my lived experiences were shared by everyone. 

Public school quickly changed my mind about perceived shared experiences, and I learned to be quiet about my abilities.  It wasn’t until I was a teenager that I found my first teacher. I studied under her for four years—tarot, tea leaf reading, palmistry (though I only ever really excelled with cards), honing my psychic abilities, and most importantly: how to share them with the world in measured and accessible ways.  She taught me self-discipline, presented as self-devotion; how to love my uniqueness and not feel like an outcast when I was so markedly different from the majority of my peers.

Years passed and I fell in love with Eastern traditions—studying hatha yoga, pranayama, and residing in a vajrayana gompa for a handful of years working as an altar tender, and the personal assistant of the school’s lama.  I learned how easily Eastern practices from the Oddiyan Empire complemented my neo-pagan roots, building and expounding on one another, creating a deeper and more resonant spiritual practice for myself.  My studies shifted toward Japanese Rei Ki and Shintoism.  I explored and was initiated into a Dianic Coven, was mentored by a Sufi Murshida, and learned about spiritual thresholds and hedges as a birth doula to my community, and eventually as a death doula to my father.

My Heart & Intentions

I’m here to engage and share and laugh and cry together.  To build community and be of service.  To work really, really hard doing the things I’m passionate about, and to rest and to play with just as much enthusiasm and vibrancy.  I make myself so very available to y’all.  I pray for you when asked, hold you in my heart, listen to your stories of celebration or mourning, and hold your hands when you’re afraid.  My compassion is boundless: whether you are jubilant or aching, I am too.  My faith in my students, clients, and community are unwavering.  It is my greatest joy to be your Witch.
